IKC Stella Nova is a learning community where children Learn to Live Together. Our modern, unique building consists of large, attractive spaces where children work together and meet one another. In this way, we create an innovative and challenging learning environment. Our education is organized into units where children of different ages work together. Unit 1 consists of groups 1 and 2, unit 2 consists of groups 3 to 5, and unit 3 consists of groups 6 to 8.

The pupils are constantly grouped in varying compositions. The day begins and ends in the base group. Each base group has its own fixed circle, which serves as the pupils’ home base. Throughout the day, a schedule is followed that indicates the day’s activities. The pupils receive instruction in instruction groups where pupils with the same level and/or the same instructional needs are grouped together. We carefully assess what is needed and adjust the group composition accordingly.
Through the way we organize our education, our pupils learn to deal with their own talents and limitations as well as those of others. They develop independence and responsibility, learning how to handle freedom as well as the boundaries of that freedom.
IKC Stella Nova is a growing school. Even as we expand in the coming years, we will maintain our small-scale approach. This is possible due to the way we organize our education. Above all, our school provides a safe environment for children. We aim to be a positive, pleasant school. A meeting place where children, parents, and pupils enjoy being.
