Het Palet Child Centre is innovative. We want to provide students growing up in this era of change with a solid foundation for their future. We strive to develop our students’ talents to their full potential, ensuring they are well-equipped with the right tools to make their role in society a success. School must be a safe foundation for students, where peace and structure prevail.

‘Discovering the world together’ is our motto. Within our child centre, discovering the world and yourself is central. We offer basic skills through Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI), working on paper while also using digital tools to align with individual needs. In addition to basic skills, we focus on our core pillars: Science & Technology, Arts & Culture, and Active Learning & Sports. We work with themes through which students learn by discovery and inquiry. We also teach students the value of collaboration alongside independent work. Behavior, self-reliance, and emotions are also important topics of discussion at the primary school. The Kanjertraining is a method that preventively teaches students how to deal with differences in behavior, emotions, and social interaction.
Putting all these ingredients together, we believe that by the end of grade 8, all students are ready to continue exploring the world with a well-filled backpack from Elementary school.
