IKC Noordeinde is located in the charming Noordhove district. IKC stands for Integrated Children’s Centre: a place where children aged 0 to 13 can go for both education and childcare. IKC Noordeinde is a collaboration between the Protestant Christian primary school Noordeinde and childcare organisation Junis. We operate as a single organisation, with one team and one vision. Together, we are responsible for stimulating the development of every child.

At IKC Noordeinde, we look closely at what our pupils need. We believe it is important for pupils to be engaged in their education. To achieve this, we offer various cooperative learning methods. We also consciously implement active learning. Within IKC Noordeinde, teachers are members of expert groups and purposefully identify what the school requires to continue providing high-quality education for all ages. This creates a seamless, continuous learning path within the school.
Our school building is well-organised and offers ample space for pupils to fully flourish. Every group has its own classroom. In addition, we have a welcoming assembly hall and sufficient workspaces in the corridors. Our library is located in the assembly hall. Surrounding the school building is a beautiful playground, with the green play area as its highlight. Pupils can play here in a natural environment.
At IKC Noordeinde, you learn to think and work in a solution-oriented way. You learn as much as you can, and that is something to be proud of. We view collaboration as an essential part of our education. Children, parents, and teachers learn from and with each other. We understand that every child needs something different to develop to their full potential. No one has to do this alone.
