IKC Stella Nova is a learning community, where children Learn to Live Together. Our modern, unique building consists of large, attractive spaces, where children work together and meet. In this way we create an innovative, challenging learning environment. Our education is organized in units where children of different ages work interchangeably. In unit 1 groups 1 and 2 work, in unit 2 groups 3 to 5 and in unit 3 groups 6 to 8.

The students are always together in varying compositions. The day begins and ends in the base group. Each base group has its own fixed circle, the home of the pupils. During the day a schedule is used, on which the activities of the day are indicated. Students receive instruction in instructional groups where students with the same level and/or instructional needs sit together. We look carefully at what is needed and adjust group composition accordingly.

Through the way we organize our education, our students learn to deal with the talents and limitations of themselves and others. They develop independence and responsibility, learn to deal with freedom and its limits.

IKC Stella Nova is a growing school. Even if we grow larger in the coming years, we remain small in size. This is possible because of the way we organize our education. First and foremost, our school is a safe environment for the children. We want to be a positive, pleasant school. A meeting place where children, parents and students enjoy being.
