At De Oranjerie, it is visible that all our children are learning and developing. We know and can do more together than alone; that is why we play and we learn together. Working together is one of the most important skills in life. It is also a skill we need to learn from an early age. To this end, at De Oranjerie we use cooperative forms of work and collaborative learning is central.
It is important to us that everyone feels at home at De Oranjerie. This is only possible if we all feel safe at school: children, parents and teachers.
We want to actively involve our children in learning so that they learn to set their own goals and feel responsible for them. They need us for that. Children learn from us adults mainly because we encourage them in their learning process and tell them with the right words how they can proceed in this. We call this Making Learning Visible.
This is what you recognize us by:
– De Oranjerie stands for Time for Talent
– De Oranjerie is a school where every child is seen
– De Oranjerie is a school where children enjoy going
– De Oranjerie is a We school. Learning together is central
