Kindcentrum de Touwladder is a cozy, attractive child center in the Seghwaert neighborhood. We offer a focused and challenging range of education, child care and extracurricular activities for children aged 2 to 13 years. By working well together with the daycare we ensure as little interruption as possible in the children’s development. Children feel safe and enjoy coming to us.

Just as every person needs different things to function optimally, all children learn differently. By using 3D education in all groups, we can connect to the specific educational needs of the students. 3D education stands for 3 dynamics; ‘Mental, Emotional and Physical learning’. Every human being, with whatever dynamics, is equal to the others. However, in order to flourish, not everyone needs the same. With our 3D education, we give students an understanding of those differences, increasing their understanding of others and of themselves. As a result, they are better able to communicate with and help each other. That is of great value!
Our students receive instruction and processing in the group with their own teacher(s). Within these groups, work is done classically, in level groups and individually. We use workstations equipped with alternating furniture in line with mental, emotional and physical learning. In addition, throughout the year children are introduced to different subjects integrated into the groups, such as; music, creativity, world orientation and citizenship.
