‘Discovering the world together’ is our motto. Within our child center, discovering the world and yourself is central. We offer the basic skills through effective direct instruction (EDI), working on paper in addition to using digital resources to connect at the individual level. In addition to basic skills, we work on our pillars: Science & Technology, Art & Culture and Moving Learning & Sports. We work through themes where students learn through discovery and inquiry. We also teach students the added value of working together, in addition to working independently. Behavior, self-reliance and emotions are also important to discuss with each other in Elementary school. The Kanjer training is a method that teaches students preventively to deal with differences in behavior, emotions and dealing with each other.
Putting all these ingredients together, we believe that by the end of grade 8, all students are ready to continue exploring the world with a well-filled backpack from Elementary school.
This is what you recognize us by:
– Working across groups within the domains
– Investing in the interaction with each other
– Learning through discovery and investigation using our pillars and methods
